Recently James T asked the following question on a forum
“Why do so many VC websites do not have email addresses or pick up their phone number? How does one contact them if one thinks they are a fit?
We’re looking to raise for our BioPharma start-up and there is a high percentage of the VCs that don’t have a contact email or pick up the phone they have. How is one meant to pitch?
P.S. Any suggestions for a BioPharma investor to contact please let me know (raising £2m)”
We occasionally include BioTech companies that have significant digital technology in their product offering, i.e. their own software.
Here’s the process of finding part of the answer.
- Log in to Deal Lite (you need to subscribe first – subscription is £25/month)
- Visit Investor Analysis Space.
- Visit Investor Filter Page.
- You now have two choices.
- Choice 1: Look for investors tagged with BioTech. Select BioTech as the industry. Click Search.
- Choice 2: Do the same but also tick “Backed Industry”. Click Search. This will show a list of investors who have actually backed BioTech companies.
- Select the investors best fit
- Click Linkedin icon on Investor Selection App.
- Make contact on Linkedin to reach out to them.
