1. Michael Piddock – Glisser (Seed Follow On)
Michael is the Founder of Glisser, which recently secured Seed Follow On investment from Downing Ventures and Gresham House.
Michael has experience in Marketing for over 13years, and have worked at Octopus Investments for over 5 years. He has been a prominent investor in many companies. He created the company when he realised that live events and conferences were a really powerful marketing channel, but one that was data-poor which led to Glisser in 2014.
Glisser is a platform for virtual and hybrid meetings and events. Glisser can deliver engaging event experiences (marketing, communications, training, educational and more) with 1) a ready-to-go event platform and 2) a completely customizable solution that lets you embed unique meetings and events inside your own websites.
2. Ciaran Burke – Swoop (Series A)
Ciaran is the Co-founder and COO of Swoop Finance, which recently secured £5.4 million Series A investment from investors including Velocity and Arab Bank Ventures.
Ciaran began his career at KPMG Sydney as a Senior Market Analyst before moving to London where he worked as a management consultant with a range of clients including EY, Intersport, Vodafone and Oakley. He found a passion in growing businesses and building a community around them which brought him to Hiive in September 2013 where he oversaw the development and successful launch of Hiive.co.uk. Ciaran is also in the Board Of Advisors at Sure Valley Ventures.
