1. Kelvin Wetherill – Nerdapp (Pre-Seed)
Kelvin is the Founder and CEO of Nerdapp, which recently secured £540k Pre-Seed investment led by Fuel Ventures.
Kelvin has over 20 years tech experience building software and global telecoms solutions. He has founded 3 successful businesses: Skylake in 2017, Cloudcom in 2010 and Treehouse WorkspaceTreehouse in 2017. Prior to that he worked at Bytes Systems Integration, First Technology and Borwood Group.
Nerdapp provides customers, payments, billing, reporting, maintenance and support. It is a user-friendly marketplace (available on web and App) that connects freelance IT Technicians to individuals and businesses that need tech support on demand.
2. Steve Gardner – PrecisionLife (Series A)
Steve is the CEO of PrecisionLife, which recently secured Series A investment.
Steve is a serial entrepreneur and occasional angel investor specialising in informatics with a strong track record in the life science industry. He has designed a number of products to support drug discovery and clinical informatics.He has participated in an London Stock Exchange main market flotation and 11 corporate acquisitions, consulted for a variety of top 100 life science companies. He has also published over 30 papers and is the principal inventor on 24 patents & applications.

3. Giuseppe Mazza – Engitix (Series A)
Giuseppe is the Co-founder and CEO of Engitix, which recently secured £40 million Series A investment co-led by Netherton Investments and Dompé farmaceutici S.P.A.
Giuseppe was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the UCL ILDH for over 9 years and was Director R&D at Promethera Bioscience from 2015 to 2017. He has been involved in several international healthcare organisations including EHC. In 2011, he founded the charity Associazione Icore ONLUS, where he served as President for six years.
Engitix is developing a portfolio of internal & partnered drug discovery programmes in fibrosis and solid tumours using its pioneering human extracellular matrix (ECM) platform.
