1. Anthony Oduwole – VertoFX (Series A)
Anthony is the Co-founder and CTO of VertoFX, which recently £7.42 million Series A investment led by Quona Capital.
Anthony is a serial entrepreneur with a background in start-ups, consulting, investment and management. Anthony’s experience prior to VertoFX includes co-founding an online education portal, Tespoke in 2013 and also serving as a co-founder of a property development and investment start-up, Expedius in 2016. Anthony has worked in Online banking for Nationwide, ReInsurance for Munich and Capital Markets at Lloyds Bank, Barclays and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
VertoFX is a global B2B payments solution that helps businesses send money to anyone, anywhere. Using a purposefully built tech infrastructure and payment rails, users can instantly send and receive money in over 200 countries.
2. Gabriele Musella – Coinrule (Seed Follow On)
Gabriele is the Founder and CEO of Coinrule, which recently secured £1.62 million Seed Follow On investment from angel investors.
Gabriele is an entrepreneur and Product Lead with over 15 years of experience in FinTech, CxO, C-Level, Strategy planning, UX, Agile, Lean, Data, FCA and Hands-on experience of new digital products. He has co-founded Flair in 2015, Paylinko in 2016 and Coinrule in 2018. He has previously worked as a consultant for many FinTech companies and as an Advisor at Harvard. He is also a Mentor in Google LaunchPad, mentoring early stage startups on Product and UX.
Coinrule automates investments across multiple platforms to protect funds and catch the best market opportunities. It is a beginner-friendly and safe platform to send automated trading instructions to exchanges, including Binance, Coinbase Pro, Kraken, etc.
3. Biswajit Kundu Roy – Coastr (Seed)
Biswajit is the CEO at Coastr, which secured £1.4 million Seed investment via GroVentive.
Biswajit used to lead the Enterprise Architecture team at PwC Consulting in the UK. Previously, he has worked at Royal Bank of Scotland in their Strategy & Architecture team. He has years of experience in Banking, Payments, Insurance, Retail, Education and Technology sectors.
Nuvven (t/a Coastr) is an innovative digital mobility solution that helps improve fleet efficiency, opens new avenues of revenue and connects rental operators to more customers while providing enhanced security, convenience and efficiency. Coastr’s contactless and connected ecosystem also aims at making vehicle rentals simpler and personalised for end-customers.
4. Dom Moorhouse – Method Grid (Seed Follow On)
Dom is the Co-founder and CEO at Method Grid, which secures £1 million Seed Follow On investment.
Dom is an entrepreneur and a pluralist – ranging from innovative, online start-ups of his own (e.g. methodgrid.com, strengthindepth.com), angel-investment and the provision of advisory/mentoring services (including NED support) to growing companies. Dom is also the author of five guides on the topic of entrepreneurship specifically targeted at current, and aspirant, business leaders of professional service businesses.
