Deal Lite UK Tech Investment Weekly takes place every Monday at 12 pm UK time on Clubhouse, hosted by Manoj Ranaweera of Deal Lite (a product of Techcelerate) with co-hosts, Andrew Threlfall of Malinko (Techcelerate’s largest tech company, which makes scheduling community nursing a walk in the park for the NHS) and Stewart Townsend, a SaaS Channel Specialist who helps Techcelerate Member Companies scale through channel partnerships.

Speakers

1. Martin Bysh – Huboo (Series B)

Martin is the Co-founder and CEO of Huboo, which recently secured £60 million Series B investment led by Mubadala Capital.

Martin is an experienced entrepreneur and technologist. He began his career as a computer games programmer for 20 years, launching his first game at the age of 16. He launched one of the UK’s first online dating sites in 2001. Moving to the B2B space, he founded BHP Labs/Usurv in 2012. Martin is a frequent public speaker at events such as Internet World, iDate, The Institute of Fundraising, etc, and brings more than 20 years in development, 30 years in technology, and 20 years in B2B sales and entrepreneurship to Huboo.

Huboo Technologies is a full-stack, software-driven e-commerce fulfilment platform. Its core operational technology integrates with popular sales channels and marketplaces to directly receive and process orders in real time. Huboo’s warehousing and fulfillment service enables businesses of all shapes and sizes to be competitive in today’s fast-paced retail environment.  

2. Irma Gilbert – E4-3D (Pre-Seed)

Irma is the Founder and CEO of E4-3D, which recently secured £150k Pre-Seed investment from investors including NorthInvest.

Irma is an experienced and entrepreneurial International manufacturing business leader, and a leader at the forefront of the Industrial Internet of things and 4th Industrial Revolution. She founded Angoperfisin 1992. She has worked as a Systems Designer in CO-FABRICO, Executive Director at Connect 4.0 and founded IPRINTEDSPARES SOCIEDADE in 2021.

E4-3D Engineering for Additive Manufacturing has created a 3D printing marketplace which sells certified digital design files of automotive spare parts, increasing efficiencies in the traditional spare parts supply chain. The on-demand 3D printing system optimises logistics, speeds up delivery times and reduces the CO2emissions generated through traditional practices.
