Dan is the Founder and CEO of gigl, which recently secured £1.12 million Seed investment led by Cerebrum Tech.
Dan has over 15 years experience in recruitment, having worked in agencies and in-house. He has worked at Execuzen and BNY Mellon for a number of years. Today he’s on a mission to change the future of work and grow the giglers and companies community. He is also an investor and advisor to a number of start-up and early stage businesses at GSD Capital Ltd.
gigl is re-shaping the recruitment market with their video-based recruitment platform by delivering a fast, efficient, friendly & fun process for everyone. gigl also promotes ongoing opportunities for career development after giglers have secured their 1st job on the platform.
2. Michalis Papadakis – Brainomix (Series B)
Michalis is the Co-founder and CEO of Brainomix, which recently secured £16 million Series B investment from Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund and Parkwalk Advisors.
Michalis is an entrepreneur with a vision to deliver innovative healthcare technologies that transform patient treatment. He was the Scientific Director of the preclinical stroke lab at the University of Oxford. He has been an invited speaker at international stroke conferences and innovation events. Also, he has mentored emerging teams at international innovation competitions.
Brainomix is an Oxford-based company specializing in the creation of AI-enabled software solutions to enable precision medicine for better treatment decisions in stroke and certain lung conditions. Its e-Stroke platform provides clinicians with the most comprehensive stroke imaging solution, driving faster treatment times and improving functional independence for patients.
3. Antoine Argouges – Tulipshare (Seed)
Antoine is the Founder of Tulipshare, which recently secured £8.1 million Seed investment from investors including Eurazeo.
Antoine has spent years in product development and solution-building for some of the world’s biggest dating apps, including Match.com, Badoo, and Bumble, and co-founded the first app-only dating service for over-fifties, Lumen, with over 1.8 million registrations.
Tulipshare is an activist investment platform which empowers individuals to make a positive change within some of the biggest household name companies in the world. The platform enables retail investors to invest in activist campaigns to change publicly traded companies from the inside.
4. Charlie Cook – Rightcharge (Seed)
Charlie is the Founder and CEO of Rightcharge, which recently secured £700k Seed investment from investors including Link Venture Capital.
Charlie is a Civil Engineer and Entrepreneur. He joined Octopus Energy in 2017 as a Smart Projects Manager to help expand their car charging solutions. After watching “An Inconvenient Truth”, he was driven to work on anything that would reduce emissions which led him to founding Rightcharge.
