1. William Britton – AutonoMe (Seed Follow On)
William is the Founder and CEO of AutonoMe, which recently secured £406k Seed Follow On investment from City Funds, South East Angels and Bristol Private Equity Club.
William worked for 5+ years as an Assistive Technology Specialist and a Lecturer (Learning Difficulties) at Weston College. He founded AutonoMe in 2015 by combining his understanding of vulnerable people and his skills in Video Production and technology to produce high-quality instructional video content that guided vulnerable people through activities.
Inclusive Media Solutions (t/a AutonoMe) helps vulnerable adults and young people develop independent living and employment skills through its tailored instructional video content programme accessed via the AutonoMe app alongside one to one support.
2. John McAuley – Veya (Seed)
John is the CEO of Veya, which recently secured £500k Seed investment from Angel investors.
John is an experienced leader and investor in the technology sector. Starting his career in the recruitment industry, John started his own business in 2012, growing it to £15m turnover and securing a multi-million sale after 4 years. John has been involved in Veya from day one, and he joined full-time as CEO in September 2021 to bring his passion for customer care and technology development to the platform.
Veya offers an innovative solution for the residential real estate industry that helps streamline property sales through smart title deed data analysis. Agent Veya has fully integrated with ID&V and AML technology which allows estate agents to simplify compliance for industry best practice by automating identity verification, AML compliance and source of funds checks.
3. Alex Craven – The Data City (Seed)
Alex is the Co-founder of The Data City, which recently secured Seed investment from Venturian Funding and Investment Group.
Alex is a Serial Entrepreneur and an Investor, who has been running digital and tech businesses since 1999.He has 20 years experience in Marketing, Digital and a specialist in applications of AI/ML. He is also the Founder of Our Data Mutual, Jaywing Intelligence and Bloom Agency.
Data City Innovations is a Data-as-a-Service company with a mission to map the UK’s emerging economy. Their analysts and AI platform provide researchers, policy makers and investors with real-time data on dynamic sectors and the companies within them.
4. Charlie French – Etcho (Pre-Seed)
Charlie is the Co-founder of Etcho, which recently secured £279k Pre-Seed investment.
Charlie played a critical strategic role in various projects, both nationally and internationally. He has been a Trustee and Head of Fundraising at Dream Big Ghana Foundation for over 7 years and founded The Meet Me There project in 2016. Charlie worked as a Corporate Partnerships at UNICEF for over a year. He also works with the School for Social Entrepreneurs as a mentor. He co-founded a video content agency Pecheur Films in 2015.
Etcho is an app that will allow anybody to understand the impact of both their current and potential investments.
