1. Phill Bell – ART Health Solutions (Pre-Seed)
Phill is the Co-founder and COO of ART Health Solutions, which recently secured £800k Pre-Seed investment from Mercia.
Phill has experience in a number of sectors with a consistent thread of health and sports performance. He used these insights to deliver innovative scientific support and R&D to a number of high profile consumer healthcare brands such as GSK. He has published several book chapters, published over 20 journal articles and presented as an invited speaker at national and international conferences.
ART Health Solutions delivers robust data insights to help organisations make better informed decisions relating to employee wellbeing and performance. Their experts utilise scientific tools to measure aspects of the workplace that significantly impact business performance and provide aggregated findings that highlight key risks and opportunities.
2. Mikhil Raja – SonicJobs (Series A)
Mikhil is the Co-founder and CEO of SonicJobs, which recently secured £4.2 million Series A investment led by Triple Point.
Mikhil has over 5yrs experience as an Investment Banker, having worked at Rothschild and Deutsche Bank. From the inception of chatbot assistant Julie, Mikhil and his co-founders developed SonicJobs in 2016.
SonicJobs App is a mobile app to find and apply for jobs. SonicJobs has built industry-changing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Chatbot technology that reads the employer’s application process and matches the suitable candidates.
3. Mark Dowds – RESPONSIBLE (Seed)
Mark is the Founder and CEO of RESPONSIBLE, which recently secured £4.86 million Seed investment led by Barclays Sustainable Impact Capital and Techstart Ventures.
Mark is a Venture Partner at Anthemis. A serial investor and entrepreneur. In 2012, he co-founded Trov and was an LP in Bullet Time Ventures, an early seed investor in Uber and Twilio. He is the Chairman of Techstart Ventures and he is also the Chairman of Automated Intelligence and an advisor to several companies including Modius Health, StageTEN, eHarvestHub and Flo Technologies.
Reform Clothing (t/a RESPONSIBLE) is a technology company that exists to fight for a circular future. The company helps solve fashion’s sustainability problem with a new premium take on reCommerce that will open the category to end-customers and brands alike.
4. Ian Vickers – METCloud (Seed)
Ian is the CEO of METCloud, which recently secured £1 million Seed investment from Midven.
Ian has been Chair of the BRCSG and a Board member of the Birmingham Community Safety Partnership and a board member of the West Midlands Crime Partnership. Ian is an active member of the CompTIA and in the UK, was a member of the Executive Council. In May 2020, Ian became a member of The World Economic Forum.
