Deal Lite UK Tech Investment Weekly takes place every Monday at 12 pm UK time on Clubhouse, hosted by Manoj Ranaweera of Deal Lite (a product of Techcelerate) with co-hosts, Andrew Threlfall of Malinko (Techcelerate’s largest tech company, which makes scheduling community nursing a walk in the park for the NHS) and Stewart Townsend, a SaaS Channel Specialist who helps Techcelerate Member Companies scale through channel partnerships.

Speakers

1. Maksym Sich – Aegiq (Seed)

Maksym is the Co-founder and CEO of Aegiq, which recently secured Seed investment led by High-Tech Gründerfonds

Maksym is a serial entrepreneur with experience across different sectors including aerospace and hi-end manufacturing and cryogenic microscopy. He worked as the Managing Director for over 2years at Falcon Parallax Ltd and over 6 years at TallSpec.

Aegiq is developing a new generation of networking solutions utilising quantum security and data links. This includes addressing the demand for next-gen fibre and satellite quantum communications, as well as driving further research and development in quantum computing and quantum optics using its advanced technology.

2. Bertie Ivory-Peters – Alectro (Pre-Seed)

Bertie is the Co-founder of Alectro, which recently secured Pre-Seed investment from QVentures.

Bertie founded Alectro towards the end of 2019, having been inspired to launch a company that could help organisations to prepare for a low carbon economy. He has merged his background working with early-stage tech ventures, with his academic background in energy modelling and sustainability, to create the data-driven Virtual Sustainability Officer platform.

Alectro is a dynamic online measurement platform that has the vision to empower every organisation to become carbon neutral so that they can be climate champions for this generation and the next. Their mission is to supercharge sustainability and offset 1 million tonnes of carbon by 2030. 

3. Anil Kumar Peri – SwiftSkill (Pre-Seed)

Anil is the Co-founder and CEO of SwiftSkill, which recently secured £150k Pre-Seed investment from Jenson Funding Partner.

Anil founded ExternshipNow in 2017 and worked as a General Secretary at Entrepreneurship Development Cell in India for over 2years. Anil and his co-founder built SwiftSkill in 2020 after the pair recognised the lack of advice available to aspiring esports players.

SwiftSkill is a performance analysis and coaching service for Valorant. They believe that every gamer is different and we are building SwiftSkill to enable gamers to get personalized insights which forms the basis to educate themselves.
