1. Dino Bertolis – Breez (Pre-Seed)
Dino is the Founder and CEO of Breez, which recently secured £200k Pre-Seed investment.
Dino is a qualified Actuary. He has deep expertise in telematics auto insurance, having been the founding employee of Vitality car insurance (UK) and the previous Head of Product. His experience spans product design for behaviour change, data science, and all things telematics.
Breez is a UK-based smartwatch-centric car insurer and technology provider. It uses smartwatches to acquire customers, measure risk, influence risk, and provides products and services, such as crash detection, enabled by smartwatch sensors.
2. Matthew Hart – Soter Analytics (Series A)
Matthew is the Founder of Soter Analytics, which recently secured £9.23 million Series A investment led by AV8 Ventures.
Matthew worked as a reliability engineer at BHP, the world’s largest mining company. After a couple of years, they successfully started putting sensors on the equipment enabling them to look at live information. This experience led him to start the business.
Soter Analytics is a global ergonomic technology company that builds and develops wearable solutions, AI-driven coaching programs, and sensor free assessment tools for worker safety.
