1. Mark Paddock – Focus MRS (Seed)
Mark is the Co-founder and CEO of Focus MRS, which recently secured £150k Seed investment from Jenson Funding Partners.
Mark has a wealth of experience in the edtech and education space, particularly in vocational training. He also has a variety of experience in the entrepreneurial space. Moreover, he has more than 10 years of experience in Sales and Marketing.
Focus MRS, a Mixed Reality Streaming platform exploring new transformative approaches that meet educational needs more effectively, both for the educator and the learner. The business is focused on improving remote learning options, tools and systems so all students can achieve more and develop valuable skills with better educational outcomes.
2. Luke Loveridge – Propflo (Pre-Seed)
Luke is the Founder and CEO of Propflo, which recently secured £180k Pre-Seed investment led by Ying Tan.
Luke is a serial proptech entrepreneur. After the best part of a decade in the public sector working on change, transformation and innovation, he started a tech start-up called Homelink which helped tenants and landlords better maintain their homes and wellbeing. He successfully exited Homelink to a global group based in Ireland. With his data scientist co-founder Daniel Moyo, he started Propflo in 2021.
Propflo is on a mission to help homeowners, buyers and sellers make more informed and sustainable decisions about their properties through an ‘Experian-like’ property score based on machine learning (a form of AI).
3. Oli Johnson – Sona (Seed)
Oli is the Co-founder of Sona, which recently secured £5.21 million Seed investment led by Gradient Ventures.
Oli co-founded Catapult, the gig economy platform connecting flexible workers to retailers and hospitality businesses on a shift-by-shift basis. Oli is also the Co-Founder of Rainmaking Loft, one of the early co-working spaces in Europe. Oli started his career in finance, investing in consumer and retail businesses.
Sona Technologies is building the next generation of workforce management tools for frontline teams, focusing equally on worker and employer needs and balancing them organically. The app combines powerful productivity tools including shift and schedule management, holiday booking, and team communication – with a sleek and intuitive user experience.
