Paul is the Co-founder and COO of Envelop Risk, which recently secured £94 million Series B investment led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2.
Paul has over 20 years in technology strategy as an entrepreneur and as an economist for global Aerospace & Defence organisations. Previously, he was a Co-founder at QxBranch. Paul is also the Founder and Chairman of VALR, a fitness technology company.
Envelop Risk Analytics is a global specialty cyber and emerging risk underwriting firm. Envelop Risk’s proprietary model addresses the complexity of cyber and other emerging risk by combining artificial intelligence, security analytics, intelligence gathering, economic, financial, behavioural analysis; and modelling and simulation.
2. James Coombes – Vector.ai (Series A)
James is the Co-founder and CEO of Vector.ai, which recently secured £10.8 million Series A investment led by Bessemer Venture Partners.
James has more than 10 years of experience in building and leading customer-facing teams in financial services, commodities and international trade. He was the Co-founder of Lerival, an online furniture and design retailer. He led the Hedge Fund team at BNP Paribas for 10 years.

3. Dr. Mircea Mihaescu – Coinfirm (Series A)
Mircea is the Co-founder and CEO at Coinfirm, which secured £5.8 Series A investment co-led by SIX Fintech Ventures and FiveT Fintech.
Mircea has 30+ years of experience in technology and financial services’ blue chips and startups, holding positions including; COO, CTO and VP of Engineering. Co-founder of OwlRidge Capital, COO of US challenger bank Moven. Founder of SBT Venture Capital. Previously, he was Director of IT Strategy, Sberbank,IBM, Director of Provisioning and Configuration Technologies for IBM Tivoli, Vice President of Engineering at Think Dynamics, CTO for beMANY and Technology Head for Bank of Montreal Capital Markets.

4. Tsewang Wangkang – Embargo (Seed Follow On)
Tsewang is the Co-founder and CEO at Embargo, which secured £830k Seed Follow On investment from angel investors.
Tsewang has worked in London, Hong Kong and Switzerland for several, multinational bulge bracket banks. He worked as an Associate Director at UBS Investment Bank for 6+ years and at J.P. Morgan as the Vice President for over 2 years. Tsewang as a customer and Frederick as an employee in the hospitality industry, realized that a smart, digital solution was required to benefit businesses and loyal customers which led them to found Embargo in 2016.
